Ordinance No. 6765 modifies Chapter 3.10, Purchasing Policy and Chapter 3.12, Public Contracts.  The primary purpose of these modifications are to remove antiquated sections of code that are no longer relevant to how the City processes payments for services as technology advances and to be consistent with best practices and improve processes for contracting.  This includes some re-organization of Chapter 3.10 to provide better clarity on requirements for construction contracting and to align sections of code with current state legislation.
