Background Summary:

The City of Auburn has supported the Auburn Symphony Orchestra for the past several years to assist in promoting and marketing Auburn as a destination for arts and events that in turn contribute to the economy. Performing art programs serve as an economic driver and the activities of the Auburn Symphony Orchestra assists in attracting visitors to Auburn. For 2020, it is proposed that the City enters into a contract with the Auburn Symphony Orchestra with a specific scope of services for marketing, outreach and audience building, and organization efforts that assist in showcasing Auburn as a destination for arts and events.
