| The City of Auburn provides funding to organizations, through a competitive application process, to provide critically needed human services to Auburn residents. In the 2019-2020 budget cycle, the City Council allocated $490,000 per year to agencies funded through this program. With these dollars, the City supports 49 programs across 39 agencies. These programs address food security, physical and mental health, housing and homelessness prevention, youth services, domestic violence, and more. While under contract, agencies must provide the city with quarterly performance reports and undergo regular monitoring. This presentation will provide an mid-year overview of 2019 agency accomplishments, and will highlight trends and program success stories. |
